Where does the workshop take place?

We’ll be holding the workshop in Atlanta, GA (USA).

Where should I book to stay during the workshop?

You don’t need to worry about that – we’ve got you covered! 

When you book your place at the workshop, we book AND pay for your room in the same hotel the workshop is being held at: The Hyatt Place Atlanta Perimeter Center. The whole team stays in the hotel – so you can trust us when we say it’s a great place to stay the weekend!

The hotel is central, the rooms are modern, there’s a fitness centre included – and there’s a bar and restaurant where you can decompress, network with other emcees or spouses you bring along, or just kick back and celebrate the fact that you’re doing something big for your career!

Atlanta’s a long way – do you run workshops in different cities?

No, right now Atlanta is the only city we run this workshop in.

We understand Atlanta might be some distance from where you live (we’ve had attendees fly in from the UK and New Zealand!), but we don’t want the cost of travel to get in the way of your emcee goals. That’s why we offer a limited number of $300 travel credits for each workshop. 

When you sign up, we’ll send you $300 to spend on travel. 

But that’s only IF there are credits left for your workshop. 

The best thing to do is apply, and if you’re accepted, speak with our booking agent, Lisa, about the possibility of securing $300 travel credits.

What happens after I apply?

Once you apply, you’ll be taken to a page where you can book a short call with Lisa, our events booking agent. On the call, Lisa will walk you through the workshop, explain everything you get, answer your questions, and help you decide if it’s right for you. If everything feels good, you’ll have the opportunity to secure your place at the workshop.

And just to be clear, this isn’t a high-pressure sales call.

We only want the right people in the room – people we genuinely believe we can help. If we don’t think that’s you, we’ll tell you. No hard feelings. We don’t want your money unless we’re confident this will work for you.

What makes this workshop different?

The Booked & Paid Emcee Accelerator is the only workshop in the world specifically designed to help you build and scale an emcee business. 

Most speaking workshops focus on helping you become a better speaker. Our workshop is very different to that. You’ll learn the emcee-specific skills that get you booked, help you deliver standout performances, and keep you getting rehired again and again. Alongside that, we’ll help you build the business side of things too — how to position yourself and turn your time on stage into consistent income.

If your goal is to become a better speaker, there are plenty of options out there. If your goal is to get booked and paid consistently as an emcee, the Booked & Paid Emcee Accelerator is the only workshop for you.

Can I bring my significant other?

Due to the extremely limited number of seats, BAP is designed as a one seat per emcee experience. Each spot is reserved for someone actively building and growing their own emcee business.

Because of that, we don’t allow additional attendees to attend with you.

However – if your significant other is also your active business partner (for example, helping with sales, marketing, or operations), reach out to us and we can talk through possible options on a case-by-case basis.

Outside of that, your significant other is welcome to be around, visit, or say hello, but the actual training is reserved for registered students only.

What do I walk away with?

You’ll leave the workshop with a completely new - or repositioned - emcee business, built with you over the weekend by our team. Together, we’ll dial in your positioning so you stand out from the competition, build your Emcee Directory profile, shoot high-quality headshots and a professional sizzle reel to grab attention online, and equip you with the standout emcee skills that get you rehired again and again.

This isn’t a workshop where you come to just learn ‘more information’. 

It’s about growing quickly and getting tangible results in your business.

What happens after the workshop?

First, you’ll get standout placement on Emcee Directory for two years – which means when event organizers search for emcees in your geographical area or area of expertise, they will see your profile first. 

Second, you’ll leave with a clear post-workshop action plan — so you build new industry connections, begin positioning yourself as a standout emcee, and start generating new bookings straight away.

And third, you’ll be invited to join special monthly calls (for Booked & Paid Emcee Accelerator graduates only), where we’ll help you troubleshoot any challenges and continue scaling your emcee business.
